Lab Technician (Process Development) - No longer accepting applications

Ottignies-Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium

Why this role matters

As a Laboratory Technician specialized in microbiology and bioprocessing, you will support the development of bacteriophage production processes using bacterial hosts. You will be involved in both Upstream Processing (USP) and Downstream Processing (DSP) activities, with a strong hands-on focus on purification operations, including Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF).

You will work closely with the Technical Operations Manager and a team of Phage Specialists to design, execute, and follow up on process development activities related to phage manufacturing. In addition to experimental work, you will ensure that the microbiology laboratory is well maintained and operated according to quality and safety standards.
